circa 1885, with octagonal blued 1 7/8in. barrel, crescent fore-sight, standing notch to rear of top-strap, blued solid hammerless frame marked 'CAL 6', long cylinder with fluted front edge, blind fluted rear and central engraved band, safety catch to rear of frame above grip, finely chequered hard-rubber grips and folding trigger, swing-out centrally mounted ejector, much blued finish remaining
